I think you may have just answered something that I had some difficulty reconciling from this paper. What I think I'm hearing from you is that as you get over the age of 65, protein may have less of an effect on IGF-1. And one thing that I was left thinking was if protein increases IGF-1 and elevated IGF-1 increases risk of cancer, then why would protein all of a sudden be a good thing after the age of65? So I'd be interested to kind of hear you elaborate on that.
