Why Some Like It Hot?
Colin Colan: Why do some people like it hot and others don't? He says there's a lot of research on the subject, but not enough to say for sure. One scientist has found that 15-35 degrees celsius is 'the sweet spot' in terms of taste perception. Restaurants are working hard to serve food at this temperature because they know it will cool down as you sit down with your meal.
