The Importance of Grieving Outside the Relationship
"You're essentially grieving the loss of Michelle when you meet this woman overstitch," she says. "If she were more supportive, you could have done the grieving while you were with her." And then in your letter, you indicate that part of you thinks maybe you need to come to terms with being alone or learning not to be dependent on a relationship. That seems so at odds with what all your experience has been, which has been like I really need this and much happier when I have it.
