The Importance of World Building in a Game
I think that's one thing you can do as a designer. Totally. I think when you do that, you are starting to move from systems modeling to world building. You know, just kind of there is a line that you cross there where you're like, well, I'm no longer modeling a system now. I'm kind of building a world. And it gives you a lot more ability to kind of go off of the guardrails of what that actual system is. That's something about being a game designer. You get to make that choice in which way you want to go. It's probably never 100% one way or the other. Some examples we talked about in Greek
