Christopher: I am a historian by training, and so i've been trying to do some more reading in the historical perspectives of the things that i do now. So i came across this book, the 20 20 book, by jonathan zimmerman, the amateur hour. And it is a history of college teaching. The the book does not offer many answers. But if you're historically minded, or really just want a broader perspective on what it means to kind of in courage and work towards better teaching in college, i would highly recommend it.
