There are few things that you can do during what seems to be an inevitable down draught. One of them is, again, based on some interesting research. There's some very interesting research on what's called mental substraction of positive events. When you mentally subtract positive events, it's a thinking exercise to make people to shine a light on the more positive aspects of their current lives.
