Does Eating Protein With the Sugar Help With Low Blood Sugar?
Eating protein with the sugar can actually help your blood sugar not spike. Most of us, our concern is probably going to be more like low blood sugar. electrolytes are a big one for most runners and should be something you're taking every day. Some athletes don't use ketones around racing because it's an ideal or slower digesting fats so they last a little longer. I'd much rather eat something than take a supplement for it. But probiotics could really be helpful for people with GI problems or certain life seasons.
