Learning Environments - How to Build a Kind Environment
Klein: To build that expertise requires something resembling like a kind learning environment. Unkind environments don't have repeatable rules, they're random and there's no feedback. There are days when the emergency department is kind, there are days when it’s unkind... And so I'm sometimes able to pull out things like that, ashing a cigarette story, when I get into areas which are more kind. But what I'm really, really careful about is not over calling that.
