Do I Need Too Much?
The book explains how the brain is operating, how our attachment system operates. The neuroscience behind all this attachment stuff also helps me to stop taking things so personally. I used to worry that needing too much meant that I was inherently unlovable. When you learn that there's actual neurons firing when they shouldn't be, you're like, gosh, I'm not unlovable. I've just, I've got a system that's operating in a way that's difficult for other people to handle and there's stuff that I can do about it.
