Brent: The more advanced you get as an athlete, the more gears you have available to so when you first start running, you basically have a single speed bike. And then by the time, you know, you're a much more ed runner, you have all this experience, you have access to dozens of gears. I will never forget an indoor three thousand meter race that i was running in college. It's funny how just this little mental switch, this this ability to think back on your training and reflect on all those hard workouts is where fitness has come from.
