Is the Timing of Your Meals Changing Your Fat Storage?

There's a lot of reasons that could make someone more susceptible to storing visceral fat and genetics plays a big part of that. Asian populations can store more subcutaneous fat, it seems, they have a higher threshold before it spills over. Two studies found that when people skipped breakfast and then ate within the same eating window later in the day, what we call fat oxidation or fat burning was impaired. So their body did not burn as much fat.
