The UK's Inflation Outlook
The last inflation print in the UK was 8.7%. That's the headline CPI number. And that's way above the 2% target. I think more significantly, it's now above every other sort of comparable economy in the world. So though inflation wasn't a UK-specific problem, it now seems it's stickier in the UK than elsewhere. It's not all to do with Brexit, but partly it's to do withBrexit. If you restrict the Labour pool then that's going to be inflationary because people can demand higher wages if they have less competition for jobs.
