I love that phrase and the idea of consenting to reality. I'm thinking back to what you said about when everything around you looks a certain way, you think that's the only way to do it. And i had an experience a couple of years ago, and it really drove this home to me, how much who were around can shape our perspective. They say that, or i've heard that, when you two finishes a tour bono, over the years, they've learned his wife asks him to check into a hotel for a full week when he finishes the tour. When he gets home from that week, the first thing he does is he has to take out the trash.
