How to Calculate the Win Rate of Opportunities
The win rate is calculated and then opportunities needs to be further defined. Most companies will consider it based on the stage of the opportunity, regardless of the pipeline source. The thing that I found to work for most businesses is quarterly. A lot of companies with long sales cycles or a lot of companies that don't have a lot of discipline in their overall pipeline will keep opportunities open that really should be marked as lost.
