I used to be so much pickier when I was little and I think it's because nothing was off limits that I actually had preferences. When you have a strong craving for a food, that's a sign that your body is lacking some nutrient in that food. So we need to learn that. If that's part of mindful eating, sign me up. A lot of this sounds like something that's been out for years, both in book form and lots of conversation, which is intuitive eating. You know, I am not sure I fully understand what everybody means by intuitive eating."
