In fact, let's double click on that deposit insurance because it would have been adequate to protect say your dentists and your grandmothers during the Great Depression. What do you do systemically to make sure that mistrust can build has now exploded? Do you then need more buffers in terms of just cash? Is the fraction of fractional banking does that need to be expanded to my mind? That is the bigger question.
