The Importance of Social Media Followers for Brands
Do a brand founder have to be a social animal to succeed today? Do they themselves have to be very outward facing? Well, we talked about some of the founder led brands and the sad sunsetting of some of those founder led brands. So I would argue that certainly social media followers does not a beauty brand make. The founder does not have to have a lot of followers,. But we have seen in some instances where that has helped get the brand that visibility but I don't believe it's a requirement.
