The Importance of Speed in Race Preparation

I always try to do the bulk of their specific work at one race distance down, so faster than what they're aiming for. So again, if you're wearing a 10k, you do a lot of 5k work. If you are wearing a half marathon, then you're doing a lot of 10k work. And I rather people be exposed to the more abrasive and more unruly sibling, which is 3k work, then do a bunch of 5k stuff.
