How Much Carbs Should I Be Having During Training and Racing?
Alan McGovern: We covered a lot of ground in that episode, but I think I'm done in a really clear and concise way. Once you're getting up beyond three hours of exercise, the recommendations go up to about 90 grams per hour. In terms of running versus cycling, often a lot of runners will struggle more to getting that amount of carbohydrate. And most runners are not special; it can be done in normal circumstances with no big surprises. But if there's anything we need to talk about then let us know at [email protected].
