I'm a world record power lifter and I love the barbell. There's nothing wrong with dumbbell or kettlebell workouts. The only issue is you're inherently limited by how much weight you're going to be able to lift. After a certain point, the limiting factor in the goblet squat will no longer be your legs. It's actually going to be howmuch weight you can actually hold up in your hands with dumbbells.
