Study Domestic Life and Home Making
The domestic sphere is where a lot of women's lives and women's work have taken place historically as well. To study the history of that is to study women throughout history, women elsewhere in time. And it's this thing that makes domestic life and home making neither this obligatory, constant slog nor something that, like, is stupid because women have to do it. That's meaningful to me. It's not frivolous, just because the starting point of that inquiry is personal. You know, my for everybody is that they have the domestic life that they want. I hope america learns something eventually, and that some day the dishes are done in a way that is equitable and freeing for all humans
