Beauty and Thinness

As a fat person, tivar experienced constant verbal and emotional thatphobic abuse in school. Tovar found a community of fat activists who told her you have the right to exist exactly as you are. The takeaway for me was that no matter what the beauty standard is, women will die to achieve it. In culture where they are taught that they're worth and their access to love and humanity is based on that beauty.
