Is There a Negative Manifold in Learning Disabilities?

Broad ability would be your general ability across all different types of tests. But a narrow ability might be something like your special abilities or verbal abilities. And you know, one thing i'd add to what alex said about the positive manifold is that it didn't have to be this way. We don't have some kind of compensatory model. It's generally that people who are good at one are god at them all, on average.
