The last kind of facts are conflicting facts. We often use them when we're trying to convince someone of something. Anything we believe becomes part of not only our self-identity, but our link to our community. And that's why that irony is, is when you tell someone something, and then they'll sit and they'll think about it for a long time before they get it.
