Our minds lie to us about other people. We systematically think that other people are more judgmental, less friendly and even more extreme than they really are. And in many cases, stead of interacting with the people in our minds, we stay by ourselves because the scariest thing on earth is to get in an argument,. or even worse, like ask some one out and have them reject us out of hand. But if we just try it, if we could just take some baby steps and talk to someone, you'r asking some one out on a froend day. You'll just make that first connection with a stranger.
