How Long Does It Take to Create a Habit?
The more friction there is in performing a new habit, the longer time it will take you. Habits form slowly, but they also decay slowly. If you go away on vacation, if you stop exercising for some reason, you can find it much easier to get back into it than somebody who didn't ever have the habit to begin with. It just needs you to reactivate it andto reenergize it so that it will help controlling your behaviour in the future.
