How to Qualify for Buyers

If you're showing a business to an unqualified buyer, then you're risking breach of confidentiality. So we qualify all buyers. We always obtain their financials or a letter from their bank Or something that proves that they can afford to buy the business. I would tell you, confidentiality is typically never breached by the broker or the advisor. It's typically breached by the owner and before you know it, everybody knows.
