How Do You Track Customer Retention?
In my industry, one in five is usually the stat conversion. People who their customer talks to exactly word of mouth. So it's about the small 1% and you don't need to be the owner of the business to do this. You can be the person serving the coffee and saying to the owner, I'm giving that person a new coffee. And I empower my guys to do this - if it's going to cost me less than $2,000, just do it. My salespeople feel empowered if they do that. That's what keeps customers coming back because they know when they've got a problem they can call me or three lines of people before they get to me.
