The Benefits of Handcuffing Your Hands When Teaching the Deadlift
For a beginner, I think it could be helpful to have a light band, a thorough band, handcuff their wrists. That can help them just create more tension and maybe help them keep a neutral spine when teaching the deadlift. But for like an advanced lifter or a power lifter, you're actually going against their technique. Having some rounding in the upper back is fine if you have a strong core and you're a skilled lifter.
