What Influences Body Composition?

There are significant gender differences between what a normal or ideal body fat percentage or body composition might be. Women have, you know, ten to 13 % of just simply essential body fat that's required to maintain normal hormo levels. Men on the other hand, that's only about two to five % essential fat. Of course, body composition can also be influenced by hydration. As we get older, we can see a expected increase in body fat percentage with age.
