What Makes a Good One on One?
I think a good one on one looks like a place for development in whatever form that's going to take. A lot of the complaints that I hear about one on one's from leaders are basically people showing up every week with the same axe to grind. And then doing it again next Tuesday. Like that is a very ineffective pattern to be broken. It probably doesn't feel safe to be doing that kind of one on one candid feedback oriented conversation in a larger group, but there has to be a place.
