We know that the like button, for example, can become a tool that ends up leading kids to constantly come back looking for more affirmation and feedback. We also know that time matters here as well. Kids can use these devices 24-7 but there are certain times of the day and amounts of time in the day where restrictions do make sense. 6 out of 10 adolescent girls are saying they are approached by strangers on social media in ways that make them feel uncomfortable. This is where our legislation should be aimed.
