The UVA volleyball team practices every day with two different mindfulness practices. "I think there's something real here, you know, training your mind," says coach Kirk Johnson. The players also do body warm up exercises before they get prepared for training. And then the structural bit for me that I'm pretty big on is just me taking care of the shoulders.
