PMF is essentially a magnetic field being introduced to the body, whereas this is an electric field. There's overlap because electricity and magnetism interact in such a way that both an electric field and a magnetic field will cause charges to move. And so it's more about neurological function. It's sort of like a Venn diagram. there's some overlap. There's some differences, but they certainly can play well together.
