I asked the question because it always struck me as interesting that there was a Guardian journalist who was apoplectic because the Eurostar used to stop at Ashford and Ebb's fleet. So, you know, I think there's this weird urban idea that the countryside is actually very under-populated. But actually, you can fit quite a lot of people into semi-rural settings. And yet, if you look at history, there have been huge periods of flight from cities. The whole point of the railways was originally that you didn't have to live right in the middle of a city.
