Is There a Difference Between Marketing Strategy and Brand Strategy?

There's a big difference between business strategy or strategy in general and the marketing or brand strategy that we execute into the market. I wouldn't get too caught up on the difference between brand and marketing strategy. They mean different things in different companies, but they're ostensibly the same thing. You can often trace stupid and pointless marketing strategy back to the fact that they don't actually know the market. It becomes simpler as you think more in more complex ways about it.
