Journey of William Montague Cobb: Pioneer in Anthropology and Advocacy

This chapter explores the impactful life and milestones of William Montague Cobb, the first Black person to earn a PhD in anthropology in the U.S. It details his advocacy for racial equality, extensive contributions to medical education, and the road from Dunbar High School to Howard University.
