We all crave low effort, high reward lives. So it's time to stop and reevaluate some of the most basic things that you do in your life. The seventh reason why we cave is because we believe our genetic values are just getting let down. We make great decisions as parents when we are not under pressure. However, the minute there's some pressure, then we look at our kids and they have those big brown eyes or big blue eyes looking at us. It creates a blind spot on purpose.
