Stephanie Coontz: I think we just have to have like enough humility to be like, we don't know how this is going to bake out. You did another episode on the A16Z on this topic called 2023 big ideas and technology. She talked about this idea of the third place. And she said that in a well functioning society there should be more social gathering places such as coffee shops or beer gardens where people can sit and talk with each other. coontz: It's almost like the way I'm most anti-tech was like, now I don't think we want technology to solve this problem. I think we want more brick and mortar places.
