The Importance of Rhythm in Running
I recently did a podcast interview with Chris McDougall and Eric Orton who wrote Born to Run 2 the second book. They specifically talk about the use of songs that have a 90 beat cadence to help with your stride rate. I think what you're talking about though is not so much the number as it is the rhythm like even if it's a range from 80 to 120, you finding your body to find this flow and rhythm.
