I think one of the consequences of what I've experienced is that I have boundaries often that are like, they exist at times when they shouldn't. When it's like face to face with one other person, I struggle to receive that love. In the distance, it's safer. And in the proximity, it feels, well, there's a reflex that comes up that like is a block or a wall.
