Is There a Causal Link Between Obesity and Heart Disease?

There's numerous large nationally representative data sets that are out there that can be used for this kind of data mining and analysis. The NHANES data set, HRS and NHIS is not going to be super meaningful unless you dig into the dig into the paper. But ultimately, they ended up with over 600,000 subjects that they kind of analyze this data on. They pulled data on BMI, sex, age, race, educational attainment, smoking, and then ultimately their rate of death.
