The Limits of Fructoseamine and Glycated Albumin
Fructoseamine and glycated albumin are basically the same thing as hemoglobin A1c in that they are ways to measure average glucose by seeing how much glucose binds to these proteins over time. The two issues here is that proteins have a shorter half-life. And so reflects a shorter time frame of average glucose than hemoglobin A 1c.
