How to Determine a Low Risk Patient

Low risk patients probably don't need an echo. Another useful test is called a Hestia criteria. There's at least studies to suggest that it allows you to safely send these people home. A lot of it are very practical things like, does the patient need oxygen? You know, are they on IV pain medication? Are there other reasons to be in the hospital?
