The Importance of Endospores in Bacteria
C. difficile is really scary in hospital settings because just using alcohol-based hand sanitizer doesn't kill the spores of these bacteria. And we're also going to do another episode at some point on another Clustridium species. Tetanus and botulism are kind of opposite ends of a spectrum, which is really interesting. I remember like comparing the two between them so maybe I thought that we had done tetanus already. It's definitely worthy of its own massing episode.
