If the patient wants a p ce pump, ou thod give the issue is to make it as much patient control as possible. The other thing is hat if you stop breathing when you have sickles of disease, and you become a hypoxic, then that just makes everything worse. So i think it's important to be liberal enough with narcotics that the patients made comfortable. But it's always a juggling act,. That's one of the reasons that i think that e patien control themsis is the way to go.
