The fourth sport of a triathylon is food. It takes effort and intention to be able to take in enough energy, both within your workouts and outside of your workouts. Eating enough calories is not something that normally happens naturally. Not sleeping enough is another big one,. If you had a lot of high intensity activity stacked up one after the other, without adequate recovery and rest time in between. And just ecause you don't eat those nutrients does not mean that your body doesn't need them.
