Parenting - The Power of the Breath

The breath is this powerful practice that we can weave into any moment of our life. It literally down regulates the amygdala circuits which are kind of the core of our emotions and of our reactivity. And so it's really this pause that puts us back in choice instead of just reacting out of our own conditioning or our habit patterns, we actually can choose a new pathway. In doing so we're also modeling self-regulation for our children and so it's a win-win for everyone.
