Is There a Hierarchy Exasperating Organizational Silence?
We are individually highly attracted to people just like ourselves, so we're most likely to be surrounded by people who share the same mental models. So they may sort of amplify our blindness. In addition, there's this fabulous research on organizational silence by morrison and millikan. And why? You that shows that people have issues and concerns at work, but they don't voice them either because they're afraid that they'll be labelled trouble makers or a, nobody'll pay attention. It u more trouble than it's worth.
