You Don't Get Social Feedback, Right?

I'm seeing my friends increasingly, sort of like thirties and forties, go through some sort of life event. And their capacity to handle that, when you talk about it, isn't really there. I think part of the reason its not thereis because we had this generation of parents who loved us so much. We're all becoming an army of porcelain dolls in some way or another. When we slip on the sidewalk  we just lie crying, you know? And that is the muscle i'm exploring right now.
